July 20, 2026
🐛 Bug fixes
- The map's zoom-out button works. The old embedded map quietly refused to zoom out past its starting view; the map is now fully ours — smooth zooming both ways, a proper pin, and the gallery/photo view untouched.
💅 Nits
- The price rolls. Slide the guess and the big number now flutters digit-by-digit like a ticker on its way to the new value, instead of snapping.
- Recent homes got the full tour. Tap a past home in the footer and you'll now see its photos, facts, map, and ⓘ details right inside Dillow — not just the price and the outbound links.
- Arrows on phones. The photo carousel's prev/next arrows now show on mobile too — swipe still works, tap works now.
- Smoother exits. The full-screen photo gallery fades out the way it fades in (and tapping the dark backdrop closes it), and switching between typing and sliding your guess cross-fades instead of snapping.
- The verdict explains itself. Hover or tap "Too low / Too high" and its emoji to see what that warmth band actually means — the little ⓘ is gone.

🔥 New Features
- 📍 Local mode. Play an endless run of real homes near you — share your location or pick a city, and switch between Random and Local mode from the footer anytime. The header always shows which city you're playing.
- Keep playing past three. Finished the day's three homes and still hungry? The recap now has a "🎁 Keep playing — bonus home" button that serves up endless bonus homes, and your progress on them survives a reload.
- All-time boards land in rooms. Finish a room round and you'll now see the home's all-time leaderboard under the reveal — the same board the daily game shows — and your room guesses now count toward it.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Rooms load fast now. Challenge rooms that used to crawl (or hang seemingly forever) now open much quicker — especially on repeat visits and between rounds.
- The slider stays where you guessed. After each guess the slider now parks at the price you just picked, right at the edge of the narrowed range, instead of leaping to some mystery value in the middle — and it stays put across reloads.
- The $ found its way home. Our share images had quietly lost the $ from the little house logo; it's back, and properly centered, everywhere the logo appears.
💅 Nits
- Type your opening guess. Your first guess on each home is now a blind number you type into a price box; the slider takes over after that. Switching between typing and sliding is a tidy pair of toggles under the control.
- The win bar just got meaner. Nailing a home now takes landing within 0.1% (it was 1%) — the how-to-play copy is shorter and honest about it being harder.
- The map got its own button. A labeled Map toggle now sits with the home's facts — tap it to peek, tap Done to get back. No more swiping past your photos into a surprise map.
- K and M work from the keyboard. Typing a price on desktop? Hit K or M to apply thousands or millions, same as tapping the buttons.

🐛 Bug fixes
- The slider drags smoothly again on phones. It was snapping back toward the middle while you dragged — that's fixed, so your guess follows your finger.
- Pop-ups sit properly on screen. Dialogs now open centered and never run off the bottom of the phone — tall ones scroll inside instead.
💅 Nits
- Recent homes open a quick recap. Tapping a home you've played now lands on an in-app card with the price and links out to realtor.com and Zillow, instead of jumping straight to a listing.
- The crowd's take tucks away. On the results screen, "the crowd thinks it's a steal" now shows as a one-liner you can tap to see the full you-vs-crowd-vs-asking breakdown — less clutter, same payoff.
- Tidier footer. Friends, Recent homes, and What's new now sit together on one line.

🔥 New Features
- Clues unlock as you guess. The listing's secrets now come out one guess at a time: home facts (lot size, stories, garage) after your first, the listing description after your second, and the full feature list after your third. The ⓘ details modal shows what's still locked.
- Photo gallery view. Tap the grid button on the photos (or in the full-screen viewer) to see every shot at once and jump straight to the one you want — no more swiping through 30 photos.
- Pinch to zoom. In the full-screen photo viewer you can now pinch (or double-tap) to zoom in and pan around — inspect that countertop up close.
- You vs. the crowd vs. the price. The community verdict is now a scale showing exactly where your guess, the crowd's typical guess, and the asking price all landed.
- Report a home. Spot fake renovation renders or busted data? There's now a "Report a problem with this home" link on the reveal and in the listing details.
- Recent homes. A quiet "Recent homes" link at the bottom of the page lists the homes you've played — with the price, how close you got, and a jump to the real listing.
💅 Nits
- Fine-tune the slider on your phone. While dragging, slide your finger up or down away from the slider for finer control — like scrubbing a video.
- Share your whole day at once. The end-of-day recap now has a "Share results" button that sums up all three homes in one spoiler-free message.
- How close was that guess? Tap the ⓘ next to any past guess to see exactly how close it landed.
- Your stats, by city. The stats panel now toggles between accuracy by price and accuracy by city, so you can see where you've got the local touch.
- Confetti in rooms too. Nail a challenge-room home within 1% and you'll get the same celebration as the daily game.
- "Your rooms" is now "Friends", and each room shows how many people have played today.
- Tap any gallery photo to open it full-screen, and the mobile map now has a clear "Done" button to step back to the photos.
- Full-screen photos ditch the 30-dot row for a clean progress bar, and the photo counter stays out of the way on mobile while you browse.
- Modals no longer overflow the screen on iOS.

- Three homes a day. Instead of one, you now get three: the home of the day, a big-spender splurge from the top of the market, and one near you (we pick the closest city automatically — no permission prompt). Play through all three, then see your daily wrap-up.
- A leaderboard for every home. Each home keeps its own all-time board of the closest guesses ever made on it — so you're now racing everyone who's ever played that exact home, not just today's crowd. Land near the top and you'll stick around.

- Fuller photo galleries. Homes now show their whole photo set — up to dozens of shots instead of a handful — so you've got more to study before you guess.
- Jump back into a room. A quiet "Your rooms" link on the home page reopens any challenge room you've recently played — tap to expand the list.
- Verdicts that mean it. Only a guess within 1% earns the 🎯 "Nailed it" now — every other result gets an honest read on how you did, from "so close" to a friendly roast.

- A live leaderboard. Today's board updates as you play, with your own placement highlighted, while the answer stays hidden until the round ends.
